Awards & Certification

Each subject carries is own award: KCB Certificate of Professional Studies and as students pass through various stages of the course.

Specialists Professional Associations

Holders of the KCB Advanced Diploma are exempted from the first and second stage exams of the Institute of Charted Secretaries & Administrators (ICSA).

Direct Entry - BA Business Studies or MBA

Holders of the KCB Higher Diploma can gain entry to the final year of a BA in Business Studies that reduces the time and the cost of obtaining a BA Degree. After the BA students can then proceed to a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA or MSc), which is regarded by many as the best qualification for a senior management position.

Practical Knowledge - Small or Medium Sized Business

The KCB's subjects are designed to give students the essential knowledge required in order of importance. Indeed the Diploma stage would be appropriate for someone looking to start their own business followed by the second and third stages foe those who want to expand their business or are working for an established larger organizations.

Course Structure & Contents

The KCB's Diplomas is divided into 3 stages:

  • KCB Diploma
  • KCB Advanced Diploma
  • KCB Higher Diploma

Exams are held twice a year, June and December and normally 6 months is required for 4/5 subjects full time and courses start dates follows:

Entry Requirements

  • 2 GCE A' Level at Grade A, B, C including Maths and English.
  • KCB Certificate in Business Management.
  • Equivalent qualifications obtained in the United Kingdom or overseas.
  • Matured students with appropriate experience but without the necessary formal qualification may be considered.
