    Pravashna Rai

Hello, my name is Pravashna. I come from India and am currently enrolled in the Diploma program at Laksamana College of Business. Studying part-time and learning about business at the college has definitely been one of the highlights of my visit to Brunei. It has helped lay a strong foundation for a first rate business education and also given me an opportunity to meet people of different nationalities and cultures.

To complete a study of four subjects within a span of six months is challenging but at the same time, an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

The lectures are relevant, informative and interesting and are given by well-qualified lecturers and guest speakers with considerable business and academic experience. The lecturers encourage the students to see education as a lifelong activity and provide ample support when a student requires it. The college also offers a fully equipped computer laboratory, free internet access, a reading room, and a well-stocked library that has recently been renovated and expanded.

The relatively small size of the college offers a unique environment for learning as well as socializing. The atmosphere is warm and cordial and the people are just as enthusiastic about learning as I am. The academic activity is well balanced by numerous social activities arranged by the college on a regular basis such as barbeques, workshops, gala nights, etc.

Laksamana College of Business offers an enriching educational experience for students of varying ages and joining the college has been an excellent choice for me. It has provided a wonderful college experience with the opportunity to receive a challenging, first class business education that leads to a Diploma and UK/British degree.
